The world imposed at the beginning of this century a very high acceleration in the domain of science and scientific research on the base of development in communication and information technology which effect all other field of sciences, therefore many universities on all over the world starting a new vision of science which synchronies with this development and for achieving that in Iraq our college also established these kind of sciences for the same purpose and to achieve progressing to our country taken under consideration our resources availability. Al- khwarizmi college of engineering one of the Baghdad university institution in Iraq with all respect and pleasureness would like to  put for audients and readers hands its new virgin of directory under name of (Al- khwarizmi engineering college guidebook 2008) which is the third one since its establishment where this issue accomplished in spite of all difficulties faced our nation in its desire to achieve the democracies and freedom.

Al-khawrizmi engineering guidebook reflect with the clear vision the  development and progressing was achieved in this new age  scientific institution in its fundamental and its  advance engineering specialists domain which consider the first attempt in our nation universities construct via the Baghdad university the central.

This guidebook contains all  the scientific and administration view for the college departments and units, therefore the readers can easily knowing all the college feasibility with respect to its hierarchal structure, sciences domain, researches, studies, department laboratories, staffs, students.
